Author Fees

The Article Processing Charge (APC) for all articles submitted to Expert in Science and Engineering (ESE) is USD 10 (IDR 160.000) , payable only after the manuscript has been accepted for publication. ESE operates under a full open-access model, providing immediate, worldwide, and barrier-free access to all published articles without any subscription fees.

The APC covers the costs associated with the editorial and publication process, including double-blind peer review, copyediting, layout and formatting, online publication, long-term digital archiving, and journal management.

All payments are accepted in United States Dollars (USD) or Indonesian Rupiahs (IDR). Applicable local taxes (such as VAT or sales tax) may be added where required.

APC Waivers and Discounts

Expert in Science and Engineering (ESE) offers APC waivers and discounts under the following conditions:

• Members of the Editorial Board, reviewers, and official contributors of the journal
• Authors affiliated with institutions or organizations collaborating with the journal

Authors with high-quality manuscripts who meet other special conditions and wish to apply for APC discounts are encouraged to contact the editorial office prior to or after submission.
